The GM fuel system consists of gas lines, fuel pump, the gas tank, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.GMs run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The fuel system mixed with air stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it’s vaporized and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your GM’s gas pedal, then you control. The pedal inform the valve while the computer controls quantity of gas, air to let in.
The fuel is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the spark plug, making a clean burn that powers the GM.
Maintaining the fuel in the vehicle clean is very important.
Come in to have your old GM’s gas filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets the recommendations of your manufacturer.
